Loose S1W front rotor.
Options:
1. Get Buell "wave washers" to (try and) tighten it up.
2. Buy $110 Buell rotor kit with bolts (ebay).
3. Buy EBC prolite rotor, $225 plus $25 for bolts.

Given that money is always an issue, is the EBC setup worth more than twice what the updated Buell rotor is going for?

I'd buy the oem ebay.
Oem rotor suggested list is over $315.

$25 for 5 bolts, they better be made of unubtainium for that price.

The $110 rotors are a steal at the mo, you can get two for the price of one EBC and have a spare for the years to come.

Fahren,

The bolt kit and washers probably will not fix anything. If ya got excessive rattle, chances are the carrier itself is worn and stretched. That would be the carrier to rotor mount points are elongated on the carrier.

I changed out my old carrier and the rattle went away. Better to change out to the later rotor/carrier or drop the coin on the EBC.

I got lucky - once - and got the wave washer fix to work. My rattle was strictly side-to-side, not rotational.

Grab the braking surface and try to rotate it like the wheel was rolling. If you have play that way...you're done, get a new one. If you don't have any play, and it's strictly side-to-side play, get the wave washers while you take some time to decide what rotor to go with in the future.

FWIW, I love the EBC that's on my S2 : )
