I Loaded Race maps to my X1 ECM,
since i did that she runs great,
but the Revs hang up around 3k and slowly drop down to 1k(idle speed) what could/would be causing that?.

drop your idle down below 1000. Mine will do that if the idle is set that high. I idle at around 800.

Can also occur with a "hung" throttle cable - make sure you have lots of slack when you do TPS reset or set idle speed. THEN tighten up the slack on the throttle.

Other reason is an intake leak, but I've found that most of the time it's due to the above.

BTW, make sure you check the condition of the throttle cable AT THE THROTTLE BODY. There is a sharp edge that frays the cable and it's difficult to see without removing the air box and moving the cable around.

Mine did that after a 1250 big bore kit. I had it dynoed and mapped to fix it! Did you change the exhaust or intake for the map? If you did you will need to have it tuned for your setup.

Thanks guys,
Abit more about the bike,(shoulda put it the orginal post,Dumb ass).
Its got a V&H exhaust(with packing) and forcewinder on it,I just got ECM Spy so loaded The Race maps on as i felt the bike was lacking power in a few places, and the orginal maps had a few spikes..
I didn't touch any thing else bar resetting the AF to 100%,didn't do a TPS reset as was looking good at the time.
I will reset the TPS this arvo,,and try it.
If its not any better i'll load the orginal maps back in and try that.

Hey Nallac, you have the same exact set up as my bike (V&H and FW) and if you used the maps I sent you then your fuel maps should be OK. I rode my bike today with the same exact maps and it ran awesome. Assuming your bike is "physically" sound, you may need to tweak the parameters in the "Other Maps" to get it dialed in.

well reset the TPs when hot,put in Kalali's
modded map and the revs still want to hang up?.

I think i'll live with it for a while as the race map makes the bike sooo much nicer to ride.

I only changed the fuel maps, and mostly in the lower left area just to smooth out the idle.

I noticed mine is hanging up at around 1.5 and i did not reset my TPS yet. I know that is where i have the problem, as i had it all apart when i did the intake seals and the idle adjuster nob was up under the fuel rail. I must have totally forgotten to reset it!
