So I think I found out why my headlight sucked oh so much ass!

as you can see the screw would no longer stay in the top U channel and let it 'fall' forward.

So I thought of a few ways I could fix this. There was nothing to bend back to retain the adjuster.

So I look over to my drawers of hardware.

I found a bare metal split washer that was the perfect diameter!

put the adjuster in the U channel, the washer on the head area and clamped it to the sheet metal and gave it a few tacks and done!

The door is some of my design work. I can spot the hardware from a mile away.

Cause and effect! Too many wheelies, S10 headlight buckets. Good fix!

glad to know you watch my riding habits?

Let's see I have yet to wheelie it. I do not think the previous owner Bruce Champion did either and If Abe Askenazi did wheelie it I am sure not much since it was sold to Bruce with 6k miles on the clock.

Back to the thin skinned stuperhero, I see.
It is a good fix, for a common problem caused by the front end coming down hard. Look close and you may see that the factory recognized an issue with the S2 frame and did a recall on early bikes and added an upper support to the fairing spyder to help the problem. Maybe you just had a weak GM stamping, maybe you don't really know the history. Again, good solution to the problem.
