I've noticed them on some of the S2 pic's here. $84 well spent? The flip-up edge of the S2 model looks like it would really push the air up pretty high, compared to the regular fairing.

oops - darn - i posted this in the pic's section. rrrrr.

Nice. Looks like it attaches with the stock top screws? No drilling? Even better....

If it's like the xb lam lip, it uses that kind of heavy duty plastic velcro (like how EZ Pass attaches to your windshield). The stuff holds like crazy, but for xb's, some have also drilled the lip to screw it on as well.

Duo Lock is the name for the velcro-type stuff, made by 3M - they sell it at Radio shack. Thought I had a close-up view, but can't find it.

I am actually going to take mine off (I will put it on another bike).

It interferes with the new GPS mount I put on yesterday. While turning the handlebars I had enough pressure to tear the velcro off the shield. The sticky underside of the velcro and not were it is suppose to come apart..

I may try and modify it a bit more before I do that.

Mine works great..
I had to modify an S3 lip as Laminar sent me one for my S2 and my S3...They were the same, thus it wasnt correct for my S2...They refunded my coin and I got to keep the lip..Thus I made it work...Now that they make an S2 version it prob even works better...Hb
