Over the winter I upgraded my transmission to a Baker XL6. It's a decent setup, the bad thing is my speedo is reading high now, it's about 10 to 15 mph off. It's not a huge deal but it is a mild annoyance. Was wondering if there is a fix to this, other than going back to the original five speed. Can these speedometers be recalibrated somehow?

You need a Speedo Healer, about $90.

...I love my tuber front-wheel-cable-drive-speedos : )

You should be able to contact Baker, I'm sure they have a correction device. Although unless you changed pulleys, output shaft speed should be the same as before as it's directly connected to the rear wheel via the belt and pulleys.....

Thanks Jramsey, I had never heard of the Speedo Healer. Seems like the way to go, pulling the XL6 out is not an option.
