Author Message   Scm2 Posted on Sunday, March 28, 2010 - 01:01 pm:        I just had my bike repainted and was wondering if their are any products that I can use to help prevent the tank from bubbling. I found a couple of tank sealers but they are not recommended for plastic tanks. I am getting mine repainted and the primer that my paint guy used is a epoxy based primer that is made just for plastic gas tanks to prevent the paint from bubbling. He did some research and house of color had this stuff and said that this was the stuff to use.
