Crap, I bought some XB9S bars for my 98 S-1W and they don't fit. The controls end up hitting my fat gas tank. So...either need to sell the XB9S bars I have or trade them to someone who has some for an X-1 or S-1/W. Anyone? While we're at it, need some help on figuring out which way some of the wires and cables are routed to the handlebars controls. In particular the front brake line. I noticed there's a little clamp that is supposed to secure the line at some point. can't figure out where that goes? help, post pic of you can. | ||

the little clamp goes on the lower tree right hand site. there should be a hole where you can screw it on | ||

Michael, I've got two of the S1 / S1W bars. They are straight and clean. I can't remember for sure, but I don't believe either have a left grip on them. $25.00 plus shipping for one. Kevin | ||

If you are ever in Salt Lake you can swing by and look at mine, snap some pics or whatever. I've got S1W Crossroads bars on with my FAT S3 tank, the rest of the front end is X1 but that should not matter. I'm in Murray, right off I-15 and 5300 S. |
