After much work recently my x1 is still running like crap. It bucks and shakes at full throttle but runs smooth at part throttle.

So far I have checked fuel pressure and recently replaced injectors and O2 sensor. Check compression which is a bit low at around 100 psi for both but I have a crappy gauge which I don't trust (mostly checking for them to be the same). New plug wires and good looking plugs.

Problem doesn't feel/sound like detonation and isn't acompanied by backfiring.

also have a recently replaced coil, and it was running good after the coil was replaced. The afv is setting itself at 110 or so. I have a force intake and wyleco muffler on the stock header with a race ECM but have tried the stock ECM. I have new gas and have some miles on the bike. The datalog from ECMspy doesn't show anything unusual. At full throttle there are no obvious lean spikes that would indicate miss fires. And the head temp sensor moves linearly and doesn't cut out. Which I think says it's good.

Any ideas?

Can I post the ECM spy log somehow?

Can I post the ECM spy

Suggestions from a novice X1 owner: The first thing I'd rule out is the TP setting(s) by doing a proper TPS reset. I'd then make sure there are no leaks in the intake tract. If your AFV is stable at 110, then you're probably leak free but it would still be worth a "physical" check. What do the plugs look like after a good long ride? May be something got messed up with the injector seals while you're replacing the injectors..Do you get any codes?
And what do mean by "Can I post ECMSpy?" Do you mean the maps?
Anyway, good luck and keep us posted.

Also, run a can of SeaFoam through it- 1/2 down the intake (do it outside, it will smoke like crazy!) and the rest in your fuel. Then go run it hard and fill it with some quality fuel. I bet between that and a TPS reset (may need to be done AFTER the SeaFoam) that you're taken care of.

Did this on a buddy's Uly last year that had similar symptoms and worked like a charm!

after you do the TPS reset, with the key on and the engine off, run the throttle slowly from idle to wide open slowly several times and watch the tps setting with ecmspy.

the numbers should be linear from the lowest to the widest throttle setting.

If the tps values jump around at WOT or are not linear then you need a new sensor.

You can check fuel pressure all you want. You have no way to verify FLOW through the filter because it is downstream of the pressure test port. Your high AFV and description of run condition is symptomatic of a plugged fuel filter. Replace it.

TPS won't really affect full throttle. AFV at 110 means you are lean in the learned fuel area and it is adding fuel because of that to entire map. Probably has full throttle too rich. Need to get it on dyno.

Just to update this, the TPS was properly reset, fuel pressure was def good as I was running without a filter for the diagnosis, head temp sensor new. The logs had the O2 readings behaving oddly, I had a very smart guy take look at them, his recomended cleaning all the grounds, so I re terminated the three harness grounds, cleaned the main ground, and added an new one.

This had the effect of fixing the logs and making the bike idle smoother and run a bit better but didn't fix the problem. So I leak down tested the engine for a second time which looked ok, and finaly connected the compressor directly to the cyl un regulated. Only like this was I able to detect a very small head gasket leak. So I tore down the top end and found everything to be generally in good condition, very good looking bores, rings good, not much carbon etc.

If this problem remains after I get it back together, then I will be back on here to consult with you guys.

Running without a filter?
Where was the intake air temperature sensor in all of this?
I hope you win this war soon!

I was having an issue like that last year.

It turned out the connectors going into the ECM were dirty. I suspect some gunk got into them when I was putting my bike back together.

Just a suggestion that is really easy to check.
