Hi there, I didn't see anything posted in the knowledge vault or in here, can someone point me towards replacement fork tubes for my 1995 Buell S2? The chrome is flaking and I need to replace, thank you very much.

So the slider tubes?

If so you should still be able to order, re-build and done.

I,ve gone through two sets, one new on bike,50,000 deep digs, Second pair from Buell,$1000,22,000 seals shoot.I did find that you can order from WP($250 each chrome tube)But they wanted measurement, think they where going to make them).Tried forks by Frank can not do too big.I put 98 Buell Wps on,I think 4" lower, quickens steering but handles Fine.Got newer WPs on ebay$300 for a good pair,50,000 miles OK.

Butch, can you post a pic of the top of the forks? I am assuming you attached the handle bars like you do with stock S2 forks.

The reason I ask is I have seen a lot of pictures of your bike and never noticed your front end being any lower.

That would make a 3" drop,1' over trip-tree.Think I did it 6 yrs. ago.97,98 Buell WPs,I think chrome tube were a better grade and hold up longer in my opinion.
