Well all I can say is AWESOME!! , I highly recommend to anyone who likes riding bikes
or not , to go to Tassie, beautiful place with lots of green stuff and Lakes, and "NO" straight roads.
We had awesome weather for the week and carved up miles of corners, about 200- 300K's a day, was mentally exhausting but well worth it.
Bike ran like a dream and didn't miss a beat
Not like the XB's that did a exhaust stud twice, and two others that did wheel bearings.
Did about 5000k's all up and enjoyed every one of em.

I'm actually considering counseling now as I'm depressed because I had to come home.
heres a few pics , some are a bit .

the boat

Into Strahan, beautiful place

The view from our accommodation

Derwent Bridge pub

Lined up for a leak

Hellyer "HELL YEAH"!! Gorge, excellent tight stuff

Wineglass Bay out of Bicheno, named because
of the water colour after the whalers had finished

Australian Motorcycle Tours , Excellent outfit to organise bike tours , I highly recommend them, even if they do ride Kwakas.

Saint Mary's Pub, Awesome feed.

Lining up for Boat home :'(

Having a few to drown my sorrows on the way home.(me on left)

Did the Great Ocean Road from Melbourne
back to South Australia on the way home , good but not Tassie, I'm going back for sure.
(now I'm going back to bed for a good cry :'( ; ))

Fun pics, did that M2 seat work out for the long distance riding? Big Buell gatherings don't happen around here so it's cool to see that many of them out together. And now we have a face to put with the name, thanks for sharing Mick. Do you have any pics from inside the gorge?

Yep Bugs, that seat was never an issue , the fingers going numb on the odd occasion
was more of a pain.
Don't have any pics from inside the gorge, was too busy concentrating, LOTS of
25- 35K corners , very tight, tho the whole ride was similar, tight to fast sweepers.
There was about 19 buells and a couple of Beemers and jappers, all top blokes.

Thanks for the Pic's Mick. Sorry I couldn’t get there this year but will definably be on the next Muster. I went to Tassie 2 years ago and I’m still in therapy the Great Ocean Road this year did help a little but being addicted to the Tassie roads there is just no substitute. Good luck with your withdrawal.

Good one Mick. I suppose you had the only tuber there. BDU seems to be an XB forum these days. Glad you had a good time.
