The X1 files web site notes that there's a 1" x 6" slot on the bottom of it to allow idle, which sort of defeats the purpose of a ram-charger-type design. I think the design looks out of place on a tuber, as opposed to a forcewinder or an S2-type CF cover, or a ham can. But if you have one on a bike already, just wondering if you can live with it, or if it's a "must-replace."

I thought I remember reading that with the Pro Hypercharger, and proper tuning, someone (I thought it was in Battle2win mag or something) got numbers that were comparable to the race setup....

Anything that reduce's the intake air flow is a "NO", "NO" !!!

Put a AIR CLEANED SYSTEM that will let the engine breath !!!

I think they look....like something for a Japanese cruiser.

They might work OK but there are lots of other options that look better. ie Forcewinder, Race Ham Can, K&N round filter...

If I had one it would go on Ebay today with no reserve.

you are right wilson!!! haters out there with no facts, look it up....if you don't like the looks, fine. but the fact is, they do work, as much as many people don't approve...always people hating for no good reason!!!

annoys the hell out of me, if someone likes a pipe or air cleaner that they don't, they make up stats to oppose it's use...just for spite maybe???

maybe just to rationalize the cash they spent on the top shelf parts that only work marginally better than what others may like!!! whatever!!

Sweet ride, Dan.

Thanks for the varied points of view. Like most things, I'll have to see for myself, then I can add my .02 into the mix.

Take a look at my profile. My S1 runs great with it. Other intakes may perform better but I have no complaints

There's a difference between the pro and the normal one. Pros fine to use but I'd steer clear of the normal
