I **think** now that you don't have to send it in before. The dealer has like 30 days after Harley-Davidson ships the new cases to have the OLD case parts returned or there is something like a $10,00 or $25,000 charge to their dealer account. The details will vary . . . . but that's kind of how it works.   Court Posted on Sunday, March 07, 2010 - 09:44 pm:        In rereading that I don't think you are going to get matching cases. If it were a warranty issue MAYBE. . . but there is, in the parts catalog, a part number for the cases. You'll end up just buying a new set of cases.
