I am in need of a carbed tuber intake. Working on Rex's bike and the one I have will not seal even with new seals and tons of Sil-glyde. Tried twice and am done struggling with it.

Have you tried a liberal amount of axle grease all around on the inside of the sealing areas. I smear some on the inside of the seal as well as on the manifold mating surface, and inside the female area of the seal that mates with the head. It works for me. Yea it can get messy but it will fill the void that's letting in the air.

Ah Ha, that explains it,,,, Truck parts on a Sports car..... But seriously is it possible that the intake angle is different between T-Storm and plain ol XL heads that that intake was made for ? Have you tried just looking at the fit without the seals blocking the view ? Maybe give you a clue as to why it won't seal.
