I've heard this mentioned before and as a new S-1W owner I'm curious as to why and what this modd is and was for?

I bought my bike and the owner rewelded (I think, not sure since I don't know what a stock one looks like) the battery tray to sit longitudally across the frame. Not sure why?

Can someone explain and provide pics of the s-1 stock and the after with relocation?

The relocation turned the battery in the mount, changed the hold down strap, and relocated the voltage regulator to the right end of the battery so it is in better airflow.

That is it, you can still find batteries to fit the original location though.
