looking for "billet front pulley cover" or maybe one from a Evo engine I have heard looks good too Have a 97 S1

Well he lists it as a:

"Billet Front Pulley Cover"

That's not much help at all. Looks a lot like a sportster pulley cover to me, but I could be way off here.

its hard to tell for sure ,but i belive you would have to weld up and remove some of the holes as a sporty has a bump out on the forward part of the cover that the sporty mounts the peg to also , the bolt holes that hold the the " buell " stifferner bracket a sportster doesnt have that hole , and theres a lower rail that sportster mount the master to. to me it looks to be a modified sportster one but its hard to tell in the pics if where they have the master is cutout if it is it may be an early ironhead one . im only making an educated guess here . if you find out who made it let me know i like it .

Yes, got frame brace dinus..adapting steering damper from GSX (fireman Jim) now, next will be Banke shift and brake hunt...have purchased X1 swingarm and will be polishing that in my spare time...lots to do before Spring in the Northwest comes - great place to ride - lots of country roads...20 minutes from Mount Rainier...

Thanks Dinus - got frame brace - all polished and ready to go...waiting for local Buell/HD dealer to finish updates on my 97 S1...eight or nine updates in all ...parts are in finally ...really love Hodaka guys bike and wish I had a parts list...I can search threads for most of his inquiries...his last post was 2007 I think

I bought one a few years back and plan on having it chromed. yes you can crome plastic parts, check the back of any sportbike rag and you will see a few companies that will do it.
