Does anyone need one?

I saw one at a really good price today and can go back for it on Thursday if you need it. Might have been HSR brand if I remember right, it was a cnc'd part.

Also picked up a few parts still in Buell packaging that I thought folks might like to have. I'll take some pictures and post them up in the classifieds. There were some stock X1 airbox covers with one back plate and half a chin fairing too. Also a primer grey fairing lower, not sure whether for S2 or S3, left side I believe.

I really have no idea Wilson, maybe it allows you to run a big twin intake on your Sportster/Buell? I figured someone here might know for sure, like the dude that put that 45 on his Buell:

Perhaps I'll go look again and if it's not more than $10-15 I'll grab it, just in case someone needs it.

Well here's what it is, Force Mikuni Adapter HS 45-42, Force PN #5015-200SPD.

Closer inspection shows it's prolly for putting a larger sized Forcewinder on the 42mm Mikuni.

I'll get a picture up in a bit.

Ping me the price, and I'll probably snatch it up...

I wonder though, I thought the Mikuni had the same mounting as stock CV..Interesting.

Ahh, here we go, from Dennis Kirk online:

http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Prod uct.jsp;jsessionid=K5GKAEGHR04QHLA0WTVSM4VMDK0NCIV0?skuId =H18896&store=Main&catId=&productId=pH18896&leafCa tId=&mmyId=

"To convert Forcewinder XR/XR2 air cleaners to fit Mikuni HSR 42/45 carburetors"

Wilson gets first dibs as the first responder, then we'll go from there. Does this sound like something you will need Brin? Side Q, semi related - Are you going to run the Racewinder when you get the bike back together?

I'd like to get $20 for it plus shipping. The package is open but the part appears to be unused, however I haven't pulled it out of the packaging.

From the price listed on DK I could probably ask more or put it on ebay but wanted to pass the savings on to a badweb brother or sister who might need it.
