My V&H on my M2 is a bit quiet at idle and at low RPMS, i could stuff it with a bit of steel wool instead or get a used D&D pipe...how much louder in the D&D? huge difference?

D&D = balls

V&H = no balls

if you get a D&D, I suggest taking the rear mount loose, and rotating it so that the outlet faces down instead of to the left. Otherwise the volume will drive you absolutely insane every time you pass a concrete wall/median on your left.

i like the sound of my V&H. Has a lot of character to it. Loud when you want it to be and mellow when you dont want to annoy everyone.

Anyone want to trade my V&H for their D&D?

Needless to say, they kooks went back on in less than a week

It actually gets a bit louder if you take the baffle and the wrapping out. You will however lose a little performance and the bike will run a tad leaner. Some claim that it might reduce the life expectancy of the can but my PO had it that way for several thousand miles with no apparent damage.

annoying people is half of the fun, the other have is the confused look on there face after they figure out where the noise is coming from!
