I just bought my first and second Buells. A 2002 white lighting and a 2001 lighting.My question is do the both have thundestorm heads or just the 2002? | ||

Buellistic do the xb heads make much improvement over the ones I have? | ||

Dmac: As far as "i" know the only difference in ports is the XB Heads have 7MM valve stems which allows the heads to breath a little better which you can do to the THUNDERSTORM Heads ... My BLAST has a THUNDERSTORM Head and "i" plan to put the XB valves in it for that reason ... "BUT" for my 1997 S3T(LIGHTING Heads)they will also get the XB valves and seats(LIGHTING Heads have smaller valves) ... Will leave the PORT SIZE OEM as "i" want lots of bottom end GRUNT(torque in the RPM range "i" ride) ... | ||
