Just got a race exhaust for my x1 and was wondering what tips you all have. I have read about a safety wire bit still unsure about what to do if anyone could elaborate I would greatly appreciate it. I am also running a stock ECM and was wondering if anyone had a race tune they could send me.

Thanks
Jimmy

Does anyone have the part number on that safety wire. I know where to get one and am going to do so.

Do you mean the race HEADER or MUFFLER?

Also there are at least 3 types of "race" mufflers. Might be a 4th, made out of Aluminum; rest out of Stainless Steel.
1. Can, ver. 1.0 that requires the safety strap.
2. Can, ver. 1.1 that does NOT require the safety strap.
3. Tube, ver 2.0, made by Supertrapp. Does not require strap but DOES require a "rivet hole" to be drilled.

More details please...
