I have an '00 M2 and have been looking for an S3 fairing to make it into a M3. I see ebay item # 270511035974 and the seller doesn't know which model it is for. How can I tell? The same seller also lists a yellow front fender and states that it is from an S3.

It is just the stripped fairing however it is the same color as my M2 (yellow) which would be nice and I then would have to source the brackets and other hardware later.

Thanks for any help that you can provide.

The fairing and fender are both S2 parts. I can tell from the shape on both of them. I'll see if I can find some head on photos of both.

Thanks. The pictures show the differences to me very well. The S2 fairing is a tidier shape. I will keep looking.

Strange as there have been quite a few S2 ones on ebay this fall since I started looking however very few from an S3.

The M2 frame accepts the fairing support for an S3 directly. I think that's the one you really want. Maybe someone here has modified and used an S2 fairing and can give you some pointers, but I think it would be messy to use an S2.

Great looking M2 Rex. That's why I'm looking for an S3 fairing.

Thanks for the pictures.
