I searched and couldn't find a topic on aftermarket replacement batteries for the S2. Is there a high quality aftermarket that anyone would recomend? I think I will be needing one soon...thanks.

We use Battery Mart for a dry cell, lighter weight battery. Its an optima, its shorter so you have to modify your strap. When I get home I can get you the part number. Or check them out on line.

In my expierence with HDs, 35 years, I awlays found that geniune HD batteries fit perfect, and last far longer than any aftermarket battery...I have gotten 8 years outa one with proper maintennce with a battery tender...Just my view here...Hb

I've been running Hawker Odysseys in my S2T for the last 8 years.I got 7 years out of the first one and killed it by my own stupidity.

My bad its an odyssey dry cell #PC 545. I have had one in my drag bike for 7 years. The one in the ST2 is 4 years old. They are lighter and about an 1 1/2 inches shorter. length and width are the same.
