My bike is torn apart for the winter, does the instrument cluster have a battery that will keep the odometer at it's current spot? Do I have to worry about it reseting itself to zero? Not that a 2000 with zero miles is a bad thing, but I would like to keep the mileage correct.

Vehicle miles are hard-stored, trip odo will reset.
