Is there something wrong with me? I've been wanting to do something different with my '06 XBSs. I thought I'd convert it over to an R front fairing, picked up a few pieces, and now I'm thinking that's not the direction I want to go. The more I look back, the more I love the simplicity and the style of the M2 headlight and flyscreen/fairing (whatever you guys call it). It's sleek, it's symmetrical, just downright classy. Does anyone happen to know what parts would be involved with getting an M2 setup installed on an XB? I have NO idea whatsoever. I know I'd need the plastic screen and the headlight, but I don't know what else is under there. Any help (and part numbers!) would be greatly appreciated.

I'd be needing black plastics (unless they made a Sunset Orange one, which I highly doubt).

you'd need the X1 light brackets , headlight and M2 screen . tho Im not sure if the brackets are the same diameter as the XB uppers or if the gauges would match the screen --- but where theres a will ?

Yeah, I figure I can make it work one way or another, once I see what parts are involved. So the X1 light bracket and headlight are the same as the M2? Do the fairing and gauges bolt directly to the light bracket?

you need the x1 headlight brackets, the m2 has a smaller diameter fork. You also need the fairing brackets, asb sells them for 20 bucks or so.

The X1 headlight has a shallower bucket than the M2's but either will fit.
The shield bolts to the headlight bracket
and the gauges bolt to the top of the handle bar clamp.

I think the M2 bucket (Hella) is more shallow than the X1 (Bosch). If you need parts, PM me.
