I know race injected header has o2 Spenser port.Can carb type performance header be used if I add port for o2 Spenser and M2 performance headers can be used on inj Buells if added o2 port?  | ||

Thanks Wilson. Next race Cans Buell packed type have different #s( S1,S3inj,S3,S1,M2 carb) they must be different inside but look alike on outside.Cans probably not as universal.  (Message edited by ebutch on November 12, 2009) | ||

Yeah throw a recall or two into that, the 98-earlier, and the 99-later, might be why. Hard to imagine why the inside of the muffler would be different for these models, when the header is the same. If anything you'd think the cams on the M2 would require a different length header pipes from the other models, to get the reversion pulse timed right. |
