This weekend I rode Betty for the first time since buying the XT. I'd been ignoring her for a couple weeks and decided she needed some attention. Wow.. what an amazing motorcycle. After putting 500 miles on the XT, it felt strange getting back on the X1. The XT might do everything better, but the X1 has a lot more grin factor. The best way I can think of to describe it is "brutal". That bike is an absolute terror to ride. Power is a swift kick in the ass and she takes quite a bit more effort to ride than the Uly does, but none of that matters. And the looks.. ahh man I had almost forgotten the looks she attracts. Same thing happened to me last weekend--I took the S2 for a spin. Hadn't been on her in several months. Damn, that bike runs sweet... rt | ||

Same thing. After riding the Uly and 1125 I took the S2T out and then the S2. There is no bike out there better for me. The XBs and 1125s are faster handle better, carry more crap but I will take a S2 any day over all those bikes. BTW PK: I do not have a X1 but I did take the S1W out and all I can say is it is a violent and rude ride but a load of fun. |
