I've posted this tail almost as many times as Cityslicker has posted a dirty orange machine but here it is again. It's a carbon fiber piece that is no longer made. When it was I think (don't quote me) it went somewhere in the 2K range.

i have heard rumors that a complete subframe from a late 90's gsxr will almost bolt directly up to the x1 frame. i always wished i had access to a wrecked one for some measurements

the 4 mounting locations of the gsxr subframe would be nice to have the measurements of, to see if they are the same as the x1, or close enough to easily cut bend re weld to fit.

on a slightly different note... Joe, I had a question about your battery. Is that the stock location and orientation for your battery or did you relocate it? I'd like to do something like that on my M2.

X1's had their battery laid down duc.

It's stock on X1's, vice ours standing up straight.

Yep, stock location as Brinnutz mentioned - I wonder if the x1 battery tray would fit on the M2 - that would sure make it easy.

Cutting and welding would be required.
