would an s1 tank fit an x1, clearly some kind of work would need to be done to operate the fuel pump, i just like the super skinny look of the s1, I would also like to some way figure out how to make a skinnier sub frame similar to the s1.

It fits the frame fine. I used on when I switched my X1 to carb. It doesn't match up well with the seat, but you could probably fix that if you reworked the seat.

Keep in mind. You'll lose a lot of fuel capacity when you go to the S1 tank. I had to refill my small tank M2 every 100 - 110 miles. I like the 220 - 250 tank range of my larger tanks.

The tank will fit , but the frame is wider
at the seat /tank junction.
major frame work to get an S1 tail to fit, you'd have to narrow the frame.
Go and buy an S1 or an M2
