Most of you could probably do both of these while blindfolded but is there anything I should watch for or any tricks while replacing the lever and the brake pads. I am replacing my stock lever with an adjustable one and switching to Fredo Sintered pads, both courtesy of Al.
Thanks.

Clean the pistons of brake dust/ road grime with brake clean before compressing them in their bores.

The lever is to easy you will figure it out easily. Clean the crud out of the piston and boot.

Be careful of the brakelight switch behind the front brake lever.Be prepared for the "no-worky" brakelight afterwards.THe cheap(less than $5.) switch is easy to break.

You could use the "Frodo" brake pads. They're the short ones with hairy feet.

Thanks for the tips. I will be extra careful with the light switch.
Missed the Frodo joke though...

Lord of the Rings.

He's referencing Frodo, the main character of the movie series who is a Hobbit, instead of saying Ferodo.

Damn, how I did love Bilbo Baggins.

Just a quick update. Got the parts and put them on. Couldn't be any easier.
The adjustable brake lever was probably the best $20 I ever spent on the bike. It is great.
The Ferodo Sintered HH pads noticeably improved the rear brake performance. Still not great but the braking distance while just using the rear brake is a little shorter for the same amount of pedal effort. Overall well worth it.
