What's everyone using for a tank bag on their S2? The new bags for the XB fit? I had a Nomad on the first bike, anyone know if they are still available? I see one on Ebay, but it's pricey.

I use the old-school Buell tuber bag. The XB bag won't work unless you fiddle with the mounting system - the XBs have screws at the 4 corners of the "tank", and the mounting clips for the bag attach to those screws. The tuber setup is a long strap that runs side-to-side under the steering head and clips to either front corner of the bag, and the rear is a single strap attached to the tank holddown bolt.

I use RKA tank bag here is the link http://www.rka-luggage.com/A02%20Tankbags/163%20Bu ild%20sheet/163%20Build%20Sheet.html

I like it a lot. I have the Buell Nomad bag as well but like the RKA better.

I use a Teknic which is similar to Franks RKA except that it is a dual bag zipped together, the lower bag has a rigid sidewall that holds its shape, this is where I keep heavy items, the upper bag collapses but will expand to the size of the lower bag, when fully expanded I rest my chin on it while riding. I really like this bag but they are no longer being made so I am on a search for someone making a similar bag. Most companies only make a small sized bag and I carry too much junk for their small size.

I have a gray Wolfman bag thats in very good condition. It came off my S2T which I no longer have. Wolfman made the original bags for Buell that fit the S2 as well as other bags for the other models back in that era. If your interested, get back to me.

Sent ya' a PM John, I'm interested.

Thanks for the replies, I was concerned the XB bag wouldn't work without modification.

The RKA bag, does that "quick detach"?
