I have ECM Spy hooked up to my X1. Everything seems to work except the gauge screen. It gives no response for anything which is a real hindrance when trying to do a TPS reset. I can't find anything in KV. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Thanx

So what do you mean when you say "everything seems to work"?
The Overview screen (the gauge screen) is what always shows up when I open the program so I have never seen that happen. I assume you have selected the "Professional" mode on the drop-down menu. If you can't bring up the "Overview" screen, you can use that little pop-up screen. It does include the TP values in hex.

When I say everything, I should say everything else. I can download maps... I can follow the tuning guide step for step... but the over view screen doesn't react to the bike. No RPM when running, it doesn't indicate changes in throttle position... it doesn't show voltage. It is set to professional mode.

Make sure you clicked the little keys symbol or it wont respond!

Sometimes when you switch screens you may need to click again on the button that activates the program. I think it is the keys symbol button as Russ suggested. You can tell if you are "offline" when that little pop up screen disappears from the main screen. If you have the pop up screen and it is responding to the bike, i.e., TP and RPM values going up and down, then I have no idea why you can't see the Overview screen. If everything else fails, I would reload the program. Must be a glitch or something.

It may be the keys... I'll give that a shot.

Gunter was the guy who wrote the program and ran the web site but has since stopped supporting it. Besides, trying to find someone named Gunter in Germany is like telling someone go find Joe in the U.S.
