Hey all,
I'd like to install an X1 type front fender on my M2. Does anyone know if an X1 or similar styled front fender will fit an M2? Thanks! Frank.

No, they will not.

Unless you change the front forks over as well, then you can.

Brin speaks the truth.

Maybe a fender from another bike using a standard fork though...

Measure the mounting points (four bolts through the fork brace), measure the width of the forks and see what you can figure out. Maybe an older R6 fender, they used standard forks... I suggest doing an image search of some early 2000 or late 90's models from various manufacturers. Could be a big project.

Seems like i remember seeing a fender like that in a catalog from one of the major parts distributors that would work with some finessing.

Try JC Whitney, they had a hose-clamp mounted one, a while back, that looks similar.

thats it, there was one in jc whitney that you could get to work.

I would just do the forks myself, i did it and was very happy with the results.
