I really love the look of the Air Tech Manta Tail section. Has anyone here run 1 of these, and can share info. Or info on other tail sections they have adapted to these great bikes. Tails are here.

I have an XR 750 seat/fender that looks great sitting on my M2 but I have not mounted it because I am spoiled by the comfort of the stock seat and I am too old to put style ahead of comfort any more.

That's why I have an S3T and an M2 instead of an S1.

That said, I must admit that it does look cool.

I've got one. Sometimes I put it on my M2 for a little change. What do you want to know about it?

Was it difficult to install? Did it lower your seating on the bike? Any problems with the quality of the piece, such as spiderwebs or cracks? Thanks

Goes on easy enough. Once you get the holes drilled and the right fasteners, it's a ten minute job to change. Quality is OK. Finish is good. Fit up is fair, Really light and thin. it does lower the saddle hight a lot. I can only run it 40-50 miles at a time though. The padded piece that velcros in place is hard as a whores heart! I couldn't have it as a full time saddle. After having it, if I didn't own one, I wouldn't buy one. Truely, it hasn't been on in a while.

I'd sell it. I don't have a very big garage and that is taking up space.

If you are willing to sell it and he does not want it Ill buy it off of you. I have been looking for one my self and now that you have told everyone how easy is it to change out now I want one more than I did before. I was always hesitant to getting one because my wife likes to ride with me from time to time but if they are easy to change out then that does not bother me.

OK Fire, I'll keep that in mind. After some thought, I have to say that a trade for parts sounds more interesting to me than money.

What parts do you need. I don't have much that I can think of but I do have a Brand new Stock shock if you need one of those.

I have the S1 superbike tail from Airtech on my 2000 M2. It uses a stock S1 seat. I will be fabricating my own tail this winter (that is if I get to it).
