I need both the brake and clutch levers for my S2 and also rear brake pads.

I know the controls are standard HD 1". I am looking for a good place online to buy them.

I talk with my local HD dealer and all the kid at the parts counter could do was bad mouth buell. He was a fool and had to have someone look it up for him. He could not understand that they were standard HD parts. I will machine my own before I give them my money.

Are the rear pads also standard HD as well? Where do you guys get your parts?

Any help would be great. Thanks.

I get everything I can from American Sportbike. As far as the levers I would find another shop. Or try the HD aftermarket parts places.

The rear pads are not HD parts, but the levers are HD as you said- '84-'95 to be specific. You can find the levers on eBay just as easily and usually a bit cheaper than the dealers. You can get the pads from Al at American Sport Bike.

If you went to a HD dealer that doesn't have levers for a 1984-1996 Harley-Davidson . . RUN . . get the heck out of there.

ANY sponsor or American Sport Bike will have them.

I have tons of the brake pads sitting around and I'm sure American Sport Bike has them as well.

Court, do you have some rear pads? I need some. BTW, the '96 S2s used the '95 HD controls and levers. Harley changed to the rounded controls in '96.

That is right Ross and try finding a pair that are not chrome!!!!! I tell you it is hard to find the satin finish levers.

I am just going to order them from HD.

Of course there are a lot with skulls on them. I never understood that.
