I think your aceler pump is weak. Older screaming eagle 40 mm carbs had an awsome aceler pump in 1992 but it got neutured soon after.

i would like to see you drill out the spray hole some or what ever you have to do and run another dyno to prove me wrong.

The most HP I ever saw out of a 88 incher is Pam's bike down at Cyclerama: 150RWHP @ 7700rpm and also Ron Dickey of Axtell had a dual carb Baisley head bike that made 155 RWHP claimed although I never saw a dyno sheet for that one, but it did run 9.20s @ 145 mph.....

The latest news is they found problems with the bottom end, and so now the bike will have a new crank pin, get balanced, new bearings, and ouch on the wallet. BUT, it shouldn't grenade when finished now.

That could've been part of your performance problem...

They are doing the windage tray? and oil scraper too while they are in there. That should add another hp or 2 from what I have heard.

It is supposed to be done in 2 more weeks. The cylinders are due to come in this week, and then the assembly. For good, or bad to the wallet, it is getting completely rebuilt from top to bottom.

If you notice, the high hp numbers you see are all at over 7K, which I would not want to run, at least on a regular basis. If I get 120 at 6,800 I will be happy.
