Hey Everyone;

Anyone know where I could find a NOS or good used S2 speedo?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Dave

Failing that they are available through any dealer. The only part, related to the speedo, that has gone inactive is the cotter key for the reset knob.

Thanks Guys;

I must have misunderstood what Hal's HD told me (thought they said it was discontinued...). I will be there in the morning and will get it sorted out (I hope!!).

Thanks again;
Dave

If they continue to give you a problem, let me know. I'll try to remember to check it out in the AM...but a reminder never hurts ; )

Y0500.8A is the current number. The description changes from "MPH" to "MPH/KPH", telling me it's the double-ring type now. Shows available, $151 list...and should, being a speedo, be order-able with mileage preset.

Thanks Gang;

Yes, the speedo is available and around $150.

Do you know if the analog speedo is available with preset mileage? Or is that limited to digital speedos?

If I understand properly, the part number will self-ID in the system and a dialog box will come up, asking for mileage - similar to when keys are ordered, it asks for a key code.

Ratbuell;

You are, once again, correct... thanks!! I think I am set (for now).

Thanks again for your help.
