I just returned from Oregon with a 2000 x1. 530 miles of freeway (I think the seat designer is a eunich).
I bought the bike new and had to sell it shortly after to a friend. He cant ride it much with bum knee so I bought it back.
I had an 03 XB9 and put 35k happy miles on it. The difference is noticeable, reminds me of small block vs big block chevys.
Anyway Im enjoying the bike, searching the knowledge vault and of coarse will come up with the usual over asked questions.

Nothin' better then getting an old bike back.

I refer to my X1's seat as the nut cruncher.

Welcome back.

So, does it fit better than my 99 seating position?

Your in my neck of the woods Baybueller. I'm in Modesto. There is suppose to be a Buell club around here but they never do anything. So, I either ride alone on my X1 or I ride my Ultra Classic with the Harley Owners Group.

I like your choice of bikes Scarecrow, I too have a bagger (RG).
After commuting to Hayward every day I tend to prefer the foothills/ mountains for fun.

Scarecrow, I sent you a PM with my correct email add. I seem to have no luck editing the incorrect one for PMs.

Wanna appreciate your X1 seat?

Go ride an S1 with the solo seat.

Very cool you got your old bike back. Did that with a '72 Satellite a couple years ago....it's like family coming home.
