Have a 99 M2 that I bought from the original owner who had a Thunderheart ignition system installed at time of purchase. He has no info on it and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about it such as its benefits, programmability, etc. The unit is no longer produced so the company is of no help. Any info will be appreciated.

Remember your original settings and then play!!! I start with the advance curves. Start by going up in the numbers with a hot engine under load until it starts to ping, then back off. Then if you good with the butt dyno you can try the rear cyl. timing offset, doing the same thing. Have fun!

If the bike runs right as is. Then I wouldn't mess with it. They are out of biz for a reason!
