I just picked up a polished S1 style header and CF muffler (probably a V&H). Anyway the header wraps around and ends beneath the primary cover/stator instead of ending in front of the motor. Is this a factory race system and if so what are they bringing these days?
Thanks;

Would you like to know so you can put it in your listings on eBay, or install it on a bike you own?

Depends on the diameter. The S2 wrapped around like you state but was only 2 inch at the end. The race was 2.5 inch at the end...

Since it won't go on the S3 very well, it will probably end up on E-bay. haha

Would that fit a '97 S3 frame?

I'm in need of either a 90* elbow with 2" collector on each end, or a header of this design with the elbow already built in.

I just don't know about the frame fitting issue. Seems to me like they should interchange, but I don't recall trying it. But let me know if you can use it.
