1999 S3.Can and how can I or not use temp sensor on rear head to monitor head temp on elec oil gauge for head sensor that goes to computer .Can one sensor do 2 things and how?Or use separate sensors.

I wouldn't mess with the sensors that you already have.
I would add a new sensor and make it all separate from the computer and all the other "science stuff".

+1. Seperate sensors. The sensor for the computer might have a different value range (i.e. 1v cold to 8v hot) than the gauge is set up for (could be 0.5v to 4v - just random numbers to illustrate). Use the sensor that came with the gauge, or it won't read correctly.

Is that a stock Buell sensor? If so got the part number?
