I have a HSR42 on a 1250, Zipper modded heads, 536 Redshift cams, CF ham can and a Vance & Hines exhaust. The carburetor has stock jetting and it is rich everywhere. Joe   Captainkirk Posted on Saturday, July 11, 2009 - 12:11 am:        I bought the HSR42 Quick kit and found they had mistakenly installed stock Sportster jets.....it was running WAY to lean.....Installed new jets and dialed it right in. The proper jet size, I believe, came from the tuning guide (the one you can download)
