The bolt spacing on the tube frame Buell front calipers is the same as the '84-'99 Harleys. I wonder if this means that the 6-piston Thunderheart caliper I picked up for my dad's FXD will fit on my S2? I didn't have time to take the old caliper off and try, but I did measure the holes spacing and it is the same...

diameter of rotor and alignment of rotor and caliper would be the next things to measure... there only one way to find out.

would be nice to find a caliper that is a bolt-on fit with the brembo rotor. (10mm smaller diameter than stock)

Yeah I know - custom caliper mount. But a bolt on caliper would be so much easier, and IMO would make the install look a lot cleaner with fewer necessary parts.
