I still can't get my force system to line up as good as I would like it to. I know they are prone to cracking when stressed. Looking at the force system for the xb's I notice that they are a couple different pieces. I would THINK that it would allow them to flex a little more. So my question is, can you put an xb exhaust system on a tuber? I would think that the exhaust ports haven't moved, would it just take some changing of brackets?

joesbuell put a stock xb header on his bike but he also does not have a tuber shock to get in the way of putting a xb exhaust

the uderslug shock is what makes an XB header swap difficult.

that makes sense, I wish there was a good way to make the tuber force pipe a two piece

cut it and add collectors, then clamp the pieces together.

I'd love to try it myself but I can't seem to find a cheap broken force system to experiment with.

Or get a race header and have a reverse cone megaphone built to slip on in place of the muffler. Then you have a two-piece system that sounds and performs like a Force but is completely stainless, stronger, and will fit an S2 style airbox...

yeah, that would be great..... but finding the race header is the problem!

It's a lot easier for your later model, although there's one on eBay right now for our early models. I could've got it too, for $125, but other bills got in the way. Anyway all you have to do is find a later model race header (even one for an M2, because you can weld an O2 bung in it for like $50) and have a shop build you a megaphone the size you need.

I used XB headers but had to extend them to clear the frame. I had a D&D style pipe on it for a while but wanted easier access for removing my oil lines. I have always liked the look and sound of the Force exhausts so I made my own! It's only one bolt and two springs to remove now ; )I have added a better baffle since these pictures as it had a major flat spot!

Here's some pictures

Cheers
Jodie

Here's a video of how it sound now with the improved baffle ; )

Enjoy!
