I found some metal in my rear tire (which was on the wear strips anyway). I have PM wheels and live in the north Minneapolis area and don't want them damaged, does anyone know of a good place to get a new tire at a decent price by someone who won't damage the rim? Should I get new bearings, the S2 has less than 9k.

Thanks

Zylstra HD in Elk River is awesome for service- really good guys that also happen to like Buells. I need new tires, and will be ordering from denniskirk, and having them mount them. Never checker their tire prices at Zylstra.

Ned,
Sounds like you need a visit to the Crisis Center.
I do all my own tires, I order them from Chapperal, most places here in the cities are $$$!
I've not scratched a rim yet and don't plan on starting now.
What tires are you running on the S2?

Shoot me a PM and we can talk.

BTW, the Crisis Center is my garage. i live about 20 minutes from you in Maple Grove.
I've go my own tire changer. I can do an S2 rear in about 25 minutes start to finish. Same for the front.
I work for beer....
