Just finished my XB dual headlight setup on my X1. Still need to paint the flyscreen but thats another day.I used the factory XB headlight, flyscreen, upper headlight mount, and the left and right aluminum housings. I had to make the lower headlight mount and I also made a custom dash to hold my factory X1 gauges. I also installed a set of XB City bars and made some smaller bar end mirrors.

sorry for the crappy cell phone pic, but its getting dark and rainy out... better pics to follow

Purpony, I really like the way that looks. I have a 01' model and would like to do something like that. If you dont mind, how much do you have invested in that set up? Also, what type of air intake is that, how do you like it, and where can I find one. Thanks for any info you will give me, Matt Tully

Well.....I like it, You should do a pic holding the old fly screen over the new so we can see how it would look with curve that was there for the original headlight assembly. I always liked a dual light set up!

thanks-

I got lucky and found the entire setup on ebay for $150. When i priced it out at the dealer is was about $325. I had to do some cutting and welding though on the aluminum housing and made the custom dash myself.

here is my dash i made to fit and hold my factory gauges.

also, my intake is a prospect hill intake. I think he only sells them on ebay but could be wrong. I love the intake but it hit my knee so i redrilled the holes and put it at an angle. Works great.

I'm usually not a fan of the dual headlights on a tuber, but that looks amazing!

Very clean install!

I like it a lot, but wouldn't an M2 tach combo dash work just as well since it has the hump in the center?

I'm with PK on this one. Not a big fan of the duals but this one looks good. Has to be more light than my big pie plate.

Looks great.... looks factory even. Looks like you did some great custom fabricating.
I did the same conversion using aftermarket lights, but I like the XB flyscreen better than my "cut down" one.
