I have done a little accident about a month ago and needing to have the headlight group redone, I decided to do this modification I wanted to do for a while.
this is the result...

now I'm waiting for the bottom triple tree from Italy to complete the front end, I also will polish the forks when it'll be time to install the new bottom triple tree. this is the picture of the complete one for my X1, plus I have just a bottom for my S1 like this one...

the only thing I don't like, is the speedo mounted so high, I gotta eliminate the original mounting and place the speedo right on top of the clip ons.
I like the new look of my S1, it's very streetfighter now...

got it on a catalogue at the shop. the manufacture is Bailey, try and make a research on the web.
it's pretty cheap, $217, plus 36 dollars for the converter for digital signal.

Looks good - Will you be adding a flyscreen?

Court,
thank you, you're always very kind, but I'm not an artist. I wish I was, I'm just good on stealing ideas here and there! ; )
Capital,
no flyscreen, the bike will remain like that.
Wile,
yes the color scheme is from the movie, but you might know I have a sickness for that movie!!! LOL
now, I have a question for you guys: I've just realize my tank is bubbling. this is the second time it happens after I've repaint the bike. when I purchased it, about a year ago, the bike had a paint job and there was no show of bubbling at all.
now I've got this problem for the second time, after the painter stripped down the first paint job he did and had it redone.
now my question is: since I've got a lot of problems with this painter, should I blame him again to have done an horrible paint job, or is because of the famous (or infamous) problem of the S1's tanks? and if the problem is the tank, what should I do to fix the problem and avoid to have the bubbles show in the future? I am willing to have this tank repainted again, but this must be the last time...

Italian -This was lifted from a past post in the Knowledge Vault On Painting

Here is the skinny from Al at American Sport Bike.

>>This info came directly from the good folks at Buell that were kind enough
>>to forward it to me when I'd asked about how to prevent paint bubbling on
>>Buell Tube frame tank repaints. This is what they use to paint the tanks
>>originally, and Buell hasn't had a problem with PAINT bubbling, only decal >>bubbling. They won't warranty that if you follow the info contained
>>herein that you won't have paint bubbling, but I'm guessing you won't have >>a problem if you follow it.

Oh -I would show the paint bubbling to the guy that painted it... He should stand behind it no longer than it has been.

Kalali,
here is my tail light/turn signal system...

I don't know if you can see it clearly, but I put a red LED light bar and 4 orange LED for turn signals, very minimal and essential, as the S1 is...

Blacknblack,
which triple tree, the top clip ons I have on the bike now or the other one I posted?
the top triple tree I already have on the bike is made from Billet to Race, but I bought it on eBay a while ago, cause in my understanding, they don't produce anymore those clip ons.
the complete one I posted is a special order I made from an artisan in Italy who made for me and for some other friends 5 custom triple tree and 5 short tails for X1, exact copy of the RRC tail section.
I'm expecting to receive everything in a couple of weeks, we started this project about 3 months ago, but it worth the wait: we got what we wanted and saved lot of money like this.
the triple tree is the copy of the one that is on the new Ducati Streetfighter.

Once again, very nice work, well done!

I'd like to use something like a V-Rod headlight on my cafe racer project when I get around to it, nice to see what it looks like on a bike with clip-ons.
I too would like to see that light with a small screen.

Cool dash, will look even cooler when you move it down.

If you wanna use a flyscreen, why not putting a night-rod headlight? I will use it on my actual X1 project, I saw an M2 once on the web with that headlight, it us cool...

The night-rod headlight is upright, I like the angled look like the V-Rod.
The other option is an old VW Beetle or Porsche headlight, though they're a bit bigger. Roland Sands used one on one of his bikes, but I can't find a pic right now...
