When my OEM Drive Belt broke, "i" deliberately put on a SPORTSTER Drive Belt so that everyone one could see the SPORTSTER name on my Drive Belt ... If you ask for the Sportster belt, you will get the Sportster belt not the improved. My bike also came with the belt that had Sportster written on it and the new one I got (the XB belt) is a lot better made. A lot better. LOL. I broke my stock belt doing wheelies 200 miles from home. Luckily I have an awesome dad, who took the belt off my parted out Sportster and drove it down to me. I changed it in Weatherford, OK, and headed off that afternoon home to Amarillo. The XB gearing is different, but the tooth count is the same.
