I'll be riding the recently rebuilt "Betty" from OKC to Milwaukee. Will be getting there on the 4th and leaving the 7th. I'll keep an eye out for your X1 - that thing is sharp!  | ||

Same here PK! Your X1 is Sweeeeeet! I have around a 5-6 hr ride from Mn. Dont know if I'll be able to ride it. I'm nursing a recent elbow injury. I may have to trailer it as much as I dont want to! "I cannot wait to see all of the tubers this Friday." +1 I'm looking forward to eventually having an XB12XT in the garage, but I'll never give up a tuber to do it. Yeah they're more reliable, more comfortable, and handle better, but you can't beat that tuber personality. | ||

You guys are making me feel bad riding my XB12X Ugly out there. I am really looking forward to seeing these bikes and getting a lot of pictures. Last year I was impressed with all the S3s, X1s and M2s in attendance. | ||

This is not one of my "hardcore" trips...if it were me, solo, I'd be mirroring Frank and riding my Uly. Since Kim's a relatively new rider, and she has the ability to change the locks on my house, we're trucking the bikes out from MD. Her heiney wouldn't do 12 hours in the saddle, and I'm a straight through kinda guy. I've done MD to Daytona-ish - my folks live 30 min N in St Augustine - straight through in 13 flat on numerous occasions. I could stop on the way...but by the time I finally got to sleep (or they cut me off at the hotel bar), I could be in my destination. But it kills me every time I look in the mirror and see my headlight staring at me, mocking me from the truckbed. At any rate, we'll roll in sometime Thursday evening. No need to feel bad Frank. The XB,s are in a class of there own. I've never had one, but am looking to owning one in the future! I've currently got the 1125CR "itch"  NOTICE: I will be trailering my bike this yr. If anyone is going through Southern Mn & Wisconsin and has a "breakdown".... I will be carrying a few essentials (tools) etc.... If I'm near, I'll do what I can to help. PM me for my cell # and take it with you. I was stuck on the side of the road last year on my way to Strugis for 10 hrs. before the Calvary arrived. NOT a good feeling!  | ||
