This is Webe (C-3),I just bought a Black 2000 M2.I have a little parts list that I need.

1.I want to replace the turn signals.Front and rear.
2. I also need to update the shifter.

There may be more parts later but I won't know till I get the bike home.I have the parts to fix the rocker box leak and it may have a primary leak, not for sure.Other than that the bike is in great shape and runs great.I'm gonna also do a 10K mile service as soon as I bring her home.

Thanks all Webe.

Webe,
Congrats on the MaDuece! Mine started blue, is now black as well.

I got little flush mounts for the rear so I could fit saddle bags on, they look cool, but are damn hard to see at night. For the fronts, I have one of the mini sets that Al sells at American Sportbike, they were very reasonable (like $10). I'd recommend updating to the XB rocker boxes too so you do not continually need to mess around with the breathers etc.

I've got a like new Banke shifter that I'm selling. Was on my M2 for all of 500 miles. Asking $225 for it since it's pretty much new. I'll get pics up hopefully tomorrow.

Have fun, can't wait to ride with ya!

Thanks Prior,
Did we meet at march badness?I'm sure you may know me "Webe and Jelly" LOL.Its a youtube thing from the West-Virginia ride thanks to jimduncan69.
In order to do the XB rocker box upgrade do I need just the top cover or the upper and lower rocker box? If so could I use the part numbers from the Uly Parts book?
I have heard of this up grade but dont know much about the completion and installation other than the service manual.
Although I am a machinist and a welder fabricator. So I just need to know parts and routing of hoses.I plan o make my own catch can breather too.
Later Webe

Just the XB top cover, it replaces the two upper pieces of the rocker boxes. Uly parts should work fine.
Your leak is probably from the lower seal to the head, that's where they usually go bad. The new part is a metal gasket and should hold up a lot better.
It's not too tough, you will need to lower the front of the engine for clearance to get at the front rocker box.

I converted mine over and it was just ovewr $100 in parts. Just orderd the covers out of a xb book. Not shure where the metal gasket is, mine was a rubber one. Harley doesn't make a rubber one. Somebody told me where to get them but they were 60 bucks. I used the rubber ones and no leaks after 5,000 miles. I got the rocker covers in without lowering the engine but can see how lowering the engine would help on the cussing when trying to get the cover in there!

Aren't the rubber ones the Cometic's?

Well I have the parts on the M2 that I wanted right now that is functional. The old style shifter is working fine I will change it when it goes bad or starts giving problems. The old gal runs great, yep typical fun torque monster and wheelie machine. Well, since I've been riding Buells they are all wheelie machines except the Blast you have to twist it a little tighter.
Later all,
Webe
