Been trying to so some searches about the difficulty, hints, and wisdom about how to replace fork seals. I know the info is here somewhere, just need an arrow to follow I guess...

I have 49,700m on a 97, S3 and the front seals are ever so slightly weeping, so any directions to where this might have been discussed here?

Consider getting springs and some valving when you go into the tubes. You can take a good suspension and make it much better.

After doing some further searches I found the one about cleaning with thin piece of plastic. The weeping has stopped...

That said I will look at replacing seals in off season...Thanks for all the advice.
