You hit it on the head there fullauto, A piggy back system that mimics carburetor jetting By way of the injector pulse. I could see this working but not as well as a tuned map could do! |

Shane, if things weren't so crazy at home I would. I love trips like such, ever since I rode the S2 home from Detroit. From now on any bike I buy will be thousands of miles away so I have an excuse to use some vacation time. |

My s3 was in Harlingen Texas, I flew down and rode it home to Olympia WA.http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/681 7/24494.html Then I also bought an old Electraglide (since sold) that was in Milwaukee and rode it home via Texas across to LA and up the coast. I think that is always a gamble, but a great way to take a trip. Shane |

You're right that it's always a gamble; You're also right it's a great way to take a trip. I know everytime I stopped at a gas station people would say, "What is that?" "You came from where?!" and I even had a couple Harley bikers ask me at a McDonalds in Indiana, "Is that the 2008 model?" I laughed in almost disbelief that he just said that. |

Yeah, engine builder posted 115/95 rwHP/rwTQ - but I do NOT buy it. Do not get me wrong, bike runs like a raped ape, and is very strong. I know it is rocking hot and I put major $$$ in heads, ECM mods, tweeks in the ceramic bearings, 1250cc kit, cams - but I have not had a "validated" dyno run yet. Not all that interested... I like how it runs and I take most anything from the first 1/8th and 1/4 mile, so I am not too all concerned... would be nice to find out actual numbers, but I am riding it every day and enjoying the hell out of the bike, so I really do not care about final numbers. maybe soon however for bragging rights, but this baby has never run better -- regardless of what others say of the DOBECK, when I "turn off" the DOBECK the bike runs like crap in the mid-range. When DOBECK is turned on this bike just runs really nice. I do have my maps all done however and I really found a sweet spot in tuning that I hope to post soon. I just love the damn bike and I am thinking about selling my 1125R as I now found a new love in my old X1W. The intake, and STG-III with modified DDFI really made this bike what it is. Validated 151 MPH via GPS and the roll-on from 80 to 130 is like "INSTANT"... so I am a very, very happy camper. |

Man that is sweet!! I can only hope to hit those numbers, I love my damn bike too and it has broken down 3 times (major) and this is the final build i am doing. And the dobeck is a great tool don't get me wrong. Also 115hp doesn't sound like enough. I bet it can be tweaked on a dyno to hit at least 120+ it has been done before. |

Sweet! Sounds good.. I do hope for some down-time to get my bike on the dyno... I am a happy camper either way it goes... thing just runs nice. Saturday I just mounted the CRG Blindsights (both) and love the little 2" mirrors. Plenty of exposure and love them vs. the 3" mirrors. Will be doing an integrated signal this Tuesday that I found... nice clear lens with integrated turn signals, modulated brake light. Would love to see your numbers as well... hope to get mine done in Alabama soon at Rocket H-D/Buell (the dyno) -- will post when I do. Have a great Sunday! |

Yes this is exciting but also, I hate waiting. I am just glad i am blessed with good business and a recession proof job. To be able to have my bike in the best hands is worth every penny. |
